2011 ,Toyota’s Hybrid Camry

The hybrid version of the Camry offers a gasoline 2.4-liter 4-cylinder 147 hp with a maximum increase of 45 horsepower, the electric motor. Thus, the combined gas / electric system is temporarily produce 192 hp, about the same as the V-6 engine version of the current Camry, but better fuel economy than 4-cylinders.

The Camry hybrid mid-cycle update due in 2010 and received styles. To better distinguish the hybrid version of the petrol line-up, the Camry Hybrid now has a more aggressive face, looking with a single blade grille, air intake and large external center vertical fog lights. But with only a few hybrid badge hanging from the street, shouting the Camry Hybrid does when you drive. For the 2011 model year, there are no significant exterior, interior, powertrain changes.

The first half of the Camry Hybrid is a 147 hp version of the standard motor gasoline 2.4-liter four-cylinder that runs on a more efficient Atkinson cycle. The second half is a 105-kilowatt electric motor and a 245-volt battery that provides up to 40 HP. The battery consists of 34 nickel metal hydride modules, each containing six cells of 1.2 volts. Run it through a continuously variable transmission, and it adds up to 187 hp, compared to the standard Camry’s 169 hp.

The Toyota Camry Hybrid 2011 is a rare bird. Although most hybrids tend to have a high entry price of the standard model, the Camry hybrid Camry offers regular features in a nice package more economical only slightly more expensive.
